I strive to create an environment where you can feel safe to share your story and all the thoughts and feelings that go with it. We will work collaboratively to identify where you are feeling stuck in your life, to better understand yourself and your concerns, to identify solutions and goals, and to take action toward those goals.

 

I am an interactive therapist. I believe in the importance of non-judgmental listening and emotional support along with providing feedback, guidance, and education. You are in charge of where you want to go with my role being to help you find your path.

I believe in the inherent strength of all people and my work is a blending of strength based therapy models as applicable to each individual and couple. These include cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness based, family systems, solution focused, trauma focused, and psychoeducation.  In couples therapy, I also integrate the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
